Tebuconazole+Trifloxystrobin 75 Wg
Mode of action
Tebuconazole is a triazole fungicide that works by preventing the formation of ergosterol, a crucial element of fungal cell membranes. The function and integrity of fungal cell walls depend on ergosterol. Tebuconazole weakens the cell membrane by preventing the synthesis of ergosterol, which makes the cell membrane more permeable. The fungal cell eventually perishes as a result of this disturbance.
Trifloxystrobin, a strobilurin fungicide, operates in a distinct manner. By attaching to an energy-producing protein complex in the mitochondria, it prevents the fungal respiration process. The fungus pathogen's capacity to produce adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the main source of energy for cells, is hampered by this disturbance. As a result, the fungus is unable to perform its necessary functions and eventually perishes from a lack of energy.
Uses
It is used in wheat, Barley, soyberan, oilseeds, cotton, fruitcrops, vegetables, legumes etc. crop for controlling diseases like rust, powedery mildew, alternaria blight, various leaf spot diseases, early and late blight, downy mildew of grapes etc.
